The awarding ceremony was held on September 18, 2023 at Financial Hall - Graha CIMB Niaga, Jakarta.
SMSM is increasingly aware of the importance Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles and has a strong commitment on the implementation of GCG principles which in addition to adding value added to all stakeholders, it also helps facing the risks and challenges in the manufacture industry. The award recognizes SMSM to continue improving GCG practices, notably information disclosure and accountability to its shareholders.
The 14th IICD Corporate Governance Award 2023 is annual award initiated by Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship (IICD) in collaboration with Investor Magazine, given to corporations for their high commitment in Good Corporate Governance (GCG). It gives appreciation to 200 public companies with the best market capitalization in Indonesia through a number of categories including Best Financial Sector, Best Non Financial Sector, Best State Owned Enterprise, Best Responsibility of the Boards, Best Disclosure and Transparency, Best Role of Stakeholders, Best Equitable Treatment of Shareholders, Best Right of Shareholders, and Most Improved.
