SMSM regain received acknowledgement as The Authorized Economic Operator

Wednesday, December 13, 2023 - PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk (AEO) regain received acknowledgement as the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) from the Directorate General of Custom and Excise, Ministry of Finance Republic of Indonesia which is valid for a period of 5 years until 17 December 2028.

The Authorized Economic Operator is the parties that involved in the movement of goods internationally in the global supply chain function. AEO certification given to certify that a business has met certain standards in relation to: safety and security systems to manage commercial records and compliance with customs rules.

The AEO certification has been internationally acknowledged by the World Custom Organization and the Directorate General of Customs so that certified companies get the highest priority in the customs clearance process.

It is expected with this AEO award, SMSM can enhance the competitiveness of companies in the global market so as to contribute more to Indonesia.
